“ I checked this place out because it was recently opened (3 weeks ago). I enjoyed the vibe inside as it was super simple and hipster. Very clean. I like that it has a minimal menu. That makes it so easy to choose what to eat. And they seem to have a sandwich option for every diet. I also like the bread. It's fresh and interesting. But honestly, that's the only thing interesting about the Clong sandwich. I would come back here again to try the other options, but the turkey on the Clong wasn't great quality. And the sandwich flavor was too subtle for my taste. A bit bland for the price. Service was great and, despite the paper sign, it was easy to find. ”

Tall Trees is home to some of the best and most original sandwiches I've had in metro Detroit. From the incredible bread to the meats, cheeses, veggies, and sauces, these bad boys are brushing up against sandwich perfection. I'm not going to lobby you to go there, I'm just going to feel bad for you if you miss out on the deliciousness. Also the place is adorable and has a bunch of other great things for sale. “ This little cafe looks so simple and unassuming from the outside, but don't let that fool you! The service was absolutely wonderful, very warm and welcoming. They're known for their sandwiches, made with such fresh ingredients and on breads from the highly recognized bakery next door. But what I enjoyed even more was the garlic feta dip currently offered and served with freshly cut bread toasted crispy in olive oil. Even with my order being carryout, it was presented beautifully with edible flowers. ”

They just made a chicken curry sandwich that is maybe the best sandwich I’ve ever had. It is evident that an incredible amount of love goes into this food. A+++ so lucky to have them right around the corner. Worth the trip anytime. ”
